A safe, compassionate place to slow down, breathe, and begin again.
Counseling
If you've spent months—or even years—taking care of everyone else, you may wonder what it would feel like to finally have someone care for you.
Counseling isn't about someone telling you what to do or trying to "fix" you. It's about having a relationship where you feel safe enough to tell the truth about what life has really been like—the exhaustion, grief, guilt, loneliness, anger, fear, and love that can all exist at the same time.
BOOK A 20 MIN INTRODUCTION CALL
You don't have to carry it all alone.
Healing begins when we have space to be seen, understood, and supported through the things that feel too heavy to carry by ourselves.
Counseling for the Seasons You Were Never Meant to Carry Alone
One of my highest priorities is helping you feel emotionally safe.
Many of my clients spend so much time caring for others that they rarely have permission to slow down, notice their own needs, or express difficult emotions. You may be accustomed to being the strong one, the dependable one, or the person everyone turns to.
Our work together is not rushed.
There is no "right" pace, and you don't have to earn compassion here. We'll move forward together at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
My hope is that counseling becomes a place where you can exhale—where you can bring your whole self without judgment and begin making space for your own needs, emotions, and healing.
A Safe Place to Breathe Again
Stress, trauma, grief, aging, and caregiving don't just affect our thoughts.
They affect our bodies, our relationships, our sleep, our emotions, our faith, and our sense of identity.
Because of this, I approach counseling holistically. Rather than focusing on one isolated part of your experience, we'll consider the whole person and the many things that shape how you're feeling and functioning today.
The goal isn't simply to manage symptoms. It's to better understand yourself, develop tools that support you, and create meaningful change that can extend beyond the counseling room.
Together, we may explore:
- Your thoughts and emotions
- Your body's responses to stress
- Your relationships and family dynamics
- Your personal history and experiences
- Your spiritual beliefs, if desired
- Your sense of identity and purpose
- The support systems available to you
Caring for the Whole Person
- Understanding your nervous system and responses to stress
- Developing healthier coping strategies
- Learning emotional regulation skills
- Processing grief and trauma
- Strengthening relationships
- Reducing anxiety and emotional distress
- Cultivating self-compassion
- Reconnecting with hope and purpose
- Using expressive approaches, such as sandtray or art, when appropriate
Depending on what you're experiencing, our work may include:

Therapeutic Approaches
My personal worldview is rooted in the Christian faith.
Many clients seek counseling because they want someone who understands the role faith can play during seasons of suffering, caregiving, aging, and grief. Others simply appreciate knowing where I stand while preferring a more secular counseling experience.
Both are welcome here.
I respect each client's beliefs, values, culture, and autonomy. I do not impose my faith or personal convictions in counseling. Instead, I work collaboratively with you to provide care that honors your values and aligns with the goals you have for your life.
If faith is an important part of your story, there is room for that here. If it isn't, you are equally welcome.
A Christian Worldview
Clients often describe me as thoughtful, nurturing, and deeply attentive.
I believe healing happens in the context of a trusting relationship where you feel seen, understood, and accepted—not judged or rushed.
My role isn't to have all the answers or tell you how to live your life.
It's to walk alongside you.
Together, we'll create space to understand what you're carrying, recognize the strengths and resilience you've already developed, and discover what healing and growth can look like for you.
